Ember Dale Potter, 41, of 705 Sherwood Drive, Crawfordsville, died suddenly of a heart seizure Thursday afternoon, August 8, while at work at his desk at the R. R. Donnelley & Sons Company in Crawfordsville. He was an artist in the offset department. Dale began working for the printing firm shortly after graduating from the Russellville High School in 1941.

Born June 20, 1922 at Russellville, he was the son of Forrest and Beulah Watkins Potter. He was married March 15, 1943 to Dorothy Bain of Russellville.

He was a member of the Russellville Federated Church and also a member of the Crawfordsville Civil Defense, Lions Club, Donnelly Club and Maurice Thompson Archery Association.

Dale served in the U. S. Air Force during World War II.

Survivors include the widow; his parents, who resided in Crawfordsville; a son Dennis Kirk Potter and a daughter Deborah Sue Potter, both at home; a sister, Mrs. Jayne Whittington of Crawfordsville. A sister, Helen, preceded him in death several years ago.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev, Clayton Lowe of Indianapolis on Sunday at 2:00
p. m. at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville. Burial was in the Hebron Cemetery, south of Russellville.
